The
Phi Beta Lambda State Leadership Conference was held in Osage Beach, MO, on March 23, 2012.
St Charles Community College was proudly represented by Ryan L., Megan Tucker, Tammy Slayden, and Catherine Dera in competitions and the conference.
Phi Beta Lambda is the largest post-secondary business student organization in the nation with 11,000 active members and nearly 500 members in 22 chapters here in Missouri. Students from all over the state - colleges, universities, community colleges, and technical schools - compete each year in various business and computer science events. This year,
St Charles Community College students Megan Tucker (4th in Computer Applications) and Tammy Slayden and Catherine Dera (2nd in Desktop Publishing - team event) placed in their events. Tammy and Catherine have qualified to compete at the PBL National Leadership Conference this summer with students from all over the U.S. The conference will be in
San Antonio, TX at the end of June. We are looking forward to the competition and conference!
